I have been involved in martial arts since 1982. I have a Shodan rank in Motobu-Ha Shito-Ryu. I also have achieved 5th kyu (green belt) in Aikido. I have spent time training in Shotokan, Jujitsu, Boxing, and MMA fighting with professional fighter Clay Mitchel.

I started my journey as a member of the National Karate & Jujitsu International. I had the honor of working out several times with the founder Soke Baillargeon, who in the 1973 Offical Karate Magazine Mr. Baillergeon was recognized as one of the “Ten Most Influential Martial Artist in America.”.

I am now a member of Kuniba Kai International. I have also had the honor of training with Soke Shogo, The founder/Shodai Soke of  Motobu-Ha Shito-Ryu. As well as; Sandai Soke of Motobu Ha Karate Do, Shodai Soke of Kuniba Ryu Goshin Do, Shodai Soke Kuniba Ryu Kobudo, Shodai Soke Kuniba Ryu Iaido.

I was also honored to have trained with Soke Kozo Kuniba, Nidai soke of Motobu-ha Shito-Ryu.

Ive learned many things in my 30 years of Karate:
1: You must practice a technique 10,000 times to know it.
2: Always use the closet weapon to the target.
3: Practice makes automatic.
4: A block is not always a block.

To name a very important few.
